I've been attending JOC, specifically Diane Aksten's JOC, since January of this year, and it has done wonders for my Miche Bag business! I leave every meeting having made several sales to women that have not only become my customers, but also my friends and colleagues. I've been to other networking groups, but none of them hold a candle to JOC. The relationships I've fostered through JOC are truly priceless. And I look forward to attending many more meetings in the future! Thank you,

Wanted to drop you a little note about my JOC launch on the 4th. The whole evening was so moving!!!
What a group of women....the meld was unbelieveable! The support, the sisterhood and the friendships that were expressed were just plain moving. I've already gotten feedback from a few attendees telling me that they already have made connections and appointments to do business with each other. What more could we ask for? This experience has given me so much confidence... in myself... to tell my JOC story as well as my Melaleuca story...I'm going to change the world one woman at a time!! Thank you for your mentoring, support and friendship. I know that we will be working together for many years.

Thank you, Bonnie, for The Joy of Connecting. We enjoyed the group meeting! It was great to see so many women- who are passionate about what they are doing within their lives. What else can I say except "It is contagious!" Jessica and I look forward to attending another event -real soon.

Bonnie, I wanted to thank you again for the amazing evening at your home for JOC! I felt so connected and honored to be a part of that group. How wonderful to be surrounded by so many women who genuinely care about each other and each one’s success! Thank you for making this past Tuesday night at your home possible for me and everyone else there! I hope to stay in touch with you and to receive information on upcoming events and gatherings.
Thank you, Nancy Marshall - Ignite/Stream Energy, July, 2010 |
In the past year I have been attending JOC meetings throughout the Atlanta area, and have made numerous friendships and relationships that will be long-lasting. Through the meetings I have generated many business partners, customers, and distributors which has resulted in a dramatic increase in my business and profits! Each JOC meeting that I have attended has resulted in 3-5 new customers, and many long-term re-occurring clients. It is amazing what happens when passionate, strong women come together in one room! I cannot thank JOC enough for allowing us the opportunity to network in a unique, comfortable way. I have gone to many other types of networking events, but the integrity and quality of the JOC women exceeds anything else I have found!

As my first JOC experience, I just want to say I really enjoyed being with all of the participants. In an industry which is flailing, I found it refreshing to be with women of experience, success, and positive attitude.

Thanks for sharing!
As a recent 'newby' to joining JOC, I second Gina's emotions. This is the most beneficial networking group I have found.
I met both of you at Debbie Warden's JOC 2nd anniversary meeting and look forward to interacting with you again soon.
Attended Annette and Phyllis' last meeting and found the same energy in the group. Wonderful, dynamic and entrepreunerial women who want to connect and make a difference in lives and the world. Great connections and delightful relationships building.
Bonnie, appreciate your vision in starting this great web of networking and sharing of hearts.

WOW!!! Bonnie Ross-Parker and The Joy of Connecting certainly make things happen—and quickly. After attending two of her wonderful gatherings of magnificent women, I have instantly found network of dynamic entrepreneurs who are not only intelligent but highly creative and innovative as well. Dear Bonnie - I am sending a warm and heartfelt thank you for inviting me to The Joy of Connecting event on April 17th. What an impressive and beautiful group of women. I admire and appreciate your efforts to bring all women together to help grow their businesses and look forward to your next event. I also look forward to the other networking opportunities where I know we will be seeing each other again.

JOC is a dynamic network get together! 1. It was intimate and personal while being very organized & professional. 2. Opportunity to explain your business & product. 3. Open minded women who were receptive to your target market. 4. Experienced women who were eager to provide direction & their services. 5. Only $25 (that included brunch & dessert). **I will be attending another one & encourage you to do so if you are a serious entrepreneur wanting to "turn your headlights on" and get your business going (faster)....****

I finished your excellent book, Walk In My Boots, last night. Loved it. I so fully relate to your passion for people and connecting. It is one of my passions and gifts as well. My gift came largely through my father, and yes, I have loved connecting in the check out line, in airports, with the service women who clean the bathroom airports (bless them all!!), and more. I love looking into everyone’s eyes and “feeling” how I might lift them along their way. I have several purple tabs through the book at places, “gems”, that I want to refer back to. Today, I am particularly grateful for your I Am 100’s, and I have been building my list.

I decided to belong to The Joy of Connecting family as a licensee after receiving an invitation to a teleconference showcasing Bonnie. The teleconference was postponed but I was intrigued by the concept of the group. I went online and reviewed the JOC website. I decided it was a great idea for networking with other women. I had the opportunity to train a couple of days with Bonnie and her husband. It was well worth the trip to GA. It was a great learning experience. Bonnie motivates and inspires you to want to achieve the best with JOC for yourself and other women. I am the first JOC in PA and excited to share JOC with the women in my community.

Bonnie, I can’t thank you enough for starting this great organization. I am so excited the day of a JOC event because not only do I know that I will meet new people but I will reconnect with people I meet at other JOC’s or the same JOC from the previous months. This is such a great opportunity for all women in the business arena. You don’t have to be just a home based business or a women in corporate America to join these JOC events, it is a mixture of all of us, no matter what you do. It is a great opportunity to come out and network with people I would have never meet otherwise. I am so excited about my business after I leave a JOC event that I don’t want to go home and go to bed, but go home and get on the phone and make phone calls and book some shows or connect with other potential leads from other JOC events I have meet. Everyone has a great opportunity to grow their business by attending these JOC events and I definitely encourage everyone to go and try it out at least 3 times before writing it off. You go to one and realize what a great opportunity for friendship and networking it is. Thank you again for starting such a wonderful organization.

Women network differently from men and this was a perfect venue. In a home-sharing a meal; relaxed atmosphere to get to know each other. The program was well run and allowed everyone to share their business. Highly recommend.

It was a blessing when I found the women of The Joy of Connecting – like minded and full of support for my business. I loved it so much I became a Licensee myself!!! I have been a JOC licensee in Arlington, TX for three years. JOC has been the best business decision I have ever made. Hosting monthly JOY of Connecting events has given me the opportunity to reach out to local women in business, and provide a supportive way for them to market their own businesses to one another. It's very rewarding, fun, and beneficial to my own business as well.

It's truly amazing the connections you can make at a JOC meeting.
A little over a year ago I had changed all of our insurance over to Liberty Mutual in a lengthy phone conversation with one of their reps in some other part of the country. I was not assigned to a local agent and was a little unhappy that I didn't have an individual that I could call. I only had an 800 number. Nevertheless, I was pleased with an overall reduction in my auto and home insurance premiums.
Last month I attended the Smyrna/Atlanta Road JOC Licensee Phyllis Wallace's Joy of Connecting meeting. One of the attendees was Rhonda Jordan, a Sales Agent for Liberty Mutual Insurance. After mentioning that I was insured through her company but did not have a local agent, we agreed that she could assign herself to our account.
Over the next few weeks, Rhonda diligently tried to set up a time for us to talk. She was never pushed but was persistent. Unfortunately, I was being pulled in a thousand directions and just could never find the time. Lucky for me, Rhonda reviewed our policies and then tried to reach me by phone yet another time. And this time we connected.
At the end of our conversation, my insurance premiums had been reduced by over $500 a year! With her expertise in insurance and her limited knowledge of me and my husband, she was able to make minor changes that had big results.
So thanks to the Joy of Connecting, I have a great insurance agent and I'm spending $500 less per year on the coverage.

I can feel my life being changed by the wealth of talent and strength that flows at each Joy of Connecting meeting I have in my home. What a phenomenol group of women. Thank you all so much for bringing your talents to the group! I hope each of you loved it as much as I did! Not only do we grow our businesses by sharing WITH each other, we network FOR each other outside the meetings. Ladies, this is a VERY strong and powerful network we are creating and I am so thrilled to be a part of it and have each of you be a part of it. Please tell your friends about this great group of women. Let everyone know what a HUGE difference this can make in your business success.

By participating in The Joy of Connecting® I’ve built lasting relationships with dynamic women, such as Jerrica Dodd a licensee for JOC. Additionally, the ideas and support received during JOC events helped me grow my business sales. As a result, I was recognized by Blessings Unlimited for ranking first among the Top Performers in Sales July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. Thank you Bonnie for providing a “safe” and “productive” medium for women entrepreneurs!

Hello Bonnie, I wanted to share an awesome testimonial with you and JOC women everywhere. Approximately two years ago, I met a young lady, Debbie Fisher, at a JOC meeting. She heard my three minute presentation, took my information and stored it away. When she had a desire to donate some items to an organization, she called us at Supreme Esteem Inc. Many times when we attend networking events and don't see immediate results, we may believe it was a waste of time. Please tell the ladies at your next and future meetings that when God says it's time, they will prosper from the acquaintances made at JOC meetings. Three minutes may not seem like a great deal of time but if one is sure to cover the main facts about their endeavors, three minutes will be more than enough. Thank you for your efforts with JOC and I pray that it continues to be a blessing to many. May God continue to bless you and JOC in the coming New Year.
Minister Deidra L. Brown, Supreme Esteem, Birmingham, AL 12/08 |
I wanted to thank you for having me into your beautiful home last night for my first Joy of Connecting experience. More than that, I have to tell you it was one of the most uplifting and enjoyable evenings I have ever had. I was able to sit back and take in the moment and watch how creative and incredible women truly are (we sometimes forget this!!). I was amazed at your organizational skills, you kept everything flowing and made it possible for everyone to get the very best out of the evening. I am returning!

WOW! What a great evening I had last night at my first Joy of Connecting Event with a group of well spoken, bright and passionate women!
You know, lifestyles are created one decision at a time and we know that small changes can make a big difference in our quality of life.
I am passionate about helping educate people on their health and wellness, and the choices they have in using pure, safe and beneficial products that can make a huge difference in their quality of life.
While our time on earth is limited, what we can do with the time we are given is limitless! I believe The Joy of Connecting can help us make an impact on the world around us through building relationships with each other and connecting our hearts and our businesses. I love helping women see all the potential they have and discover all their God-given talents and abilities. The Joy of Connecting is amazing.

I so appreciate the opportunity to form bonds and relationships with women that I would have NEVER had the opportunity to meet. After attending my second JOC meeting - I was trying to explain what the JOC is (to a friend) and I could not find words to properly describe it. You just have to EXPERIENCE it. Some of you have become friends that I cherish and I just know that this is so much "bigger" than just business connections. Thank you for allowing me to share my heart and business with you and sharing yours with me. I look forward to getting to know each of you and "together" becoming all that we are intended to be. This journey is an arduous one but somehow there's empowerment when we travel it together.

I began attending JOC meetings in January, 2008 a few months after I had
stepped back into the travel industry. At my very first JOC meeting, I met
a woman who purchased a seven day cruise for her family from me. This same
woman has referred me to others who have booked cruises as well. And, my
business continues to grow through my JOC contacts. It's a very supportive
and productive way to promote my business as well as being a wonderful arena
in which to make new friends. JOC is
awesome! Terri Leidich - Atlanta, GA - July, 2008 |
Lea Ann, I hope your event goes wonderfully tonight! I had such a great experience and enjoyed meeting everyone last time. I have been attending the Joy of Connecting for the last 4 years and have benefited in so many ways. After leaving another business I need to get out and meet new people! It is great to be around so many positive women and hearing about all kinds of businesses and their stories. Being self-employed and working from home- this is a great way to connect with other women. Thru the years I have made some great personal friends from Joy of Connecting. I have developed some great customers for my Melaleuca business and some of my business leaders have come from either Joy contacts or their referrals. I personally have benefited finding a great dentist, massage Therapists, Hair Dressers and many other services that I have taken advantage of. Each time I have left a joy mtg – I feel so uplifted and reenergized. Thanks Bonnie for creating a great venue for sharp women with drive and ambition!

Hi Bonnie, I just had to send you an email to tell you how much I enjoyed your teleconference call yesterday. I am always open to learning new things and listen to calls quite frequently and I have to say that it truly was one of the best I have ever heard. Not only was is entertaining as you and Annie were light and carefree with the conversation, but it was also jam-packed with practical and useful information. I hung up the call feeling like I had walked away with such value for my time! I have to be honest and tell you that I am pretty new to the whole networking scene. Other than trade associations, I had never been to a networking group until I moved to metro Atlanta, in fact, never even knew this under world existed. With what I learned from you I feel like my skills in this area will now soar! Thank you for sharing great information and for The Joy of Connecting. I love participating. You make it so easy and comfortable!

The Joy of Connecting is a wonderful way to connect with other women. Not only have I had dozens of fun, uplifting evenings, I´ve had the opportunity to learn about the businesses and passions of hundreds of women and get the word out about my business at the same time. I attended a "The Joy of Connecting" tonight. (Buckhead/Paces Ferry) It is a living, breathing, tool to aid women in connecting to resources, building relationships and growing their businesses. It was very welcoming, nurturing, supportive atmosphere and gave me the opportunity to share IG with other ladies. I stuffed as many sample as I could into one bag. It a good thing, I only had a few minutes to talk however everyone loved seeing and hearing about IG. They asked us to share what we were look for out of the meeting. I shared the three services that we all know about from our Success Starts Here Packet. I took my husband´s engraved business card holder and passed it around the room with my business card in it. So everyone got to touch and see maybe they will need a card holder. I also passed around the engraved soap. This is another great tool that smells good. I met a bride and handed out several catalogs.

Today, I just had to share a testimonial about my recent JOC . It was great. There were 15 participants. We had it at one of my attendees home. She and her husband own a pool company. We had a little BBQ out by their pool. I was a little worried that it might be too hot, but it was FABULOUS. We sat around the curved end of the pool with our feet in the water during the 3 minute time. I had one guest that said that The Joy of Connecting was her favorite networking event to go to. That felt great. I so greatly appreciate you. Your care, love and support is so obvious and appreciated. I'm really excited to see where The Joy of Connecting goes in the next years. Everything you have done is so amazing. I sometimes want to shout to all the women to just come once and they WILL SEE how awesome The Joy of Connecting is!!! I have learned so much from my experiences with The Joy of Connecting, thank you so much for the opportunity.

My first experience with the Joy of Connecting was last Wednesday, at Robin Dunda’s home, and I have to say- I was more than
impressed. I have been to many “networking” events, but never to one that was all women, extremely inviting, and most importantly, so
organized. As we all know, evening meetings can be difficult for those of us who have families, second jobs, etc., and I was so pleased at the
structure of the Joy of Connecting. I felt that it was more than worth my time; I met so many women with incredible services to offer; and I have
also received great feedback for my organization. Thank you again JOC licensees for all that you do for the women in the business world- and I am
proud to be a part of the Joy of Connecting!!

I love The Joy of Connecting and what it is all about! The connections and the power that is felt in those gatherings are
unbelievable! It feels great when you hear the women who attend enjoy themselves as well, and begin to immediately think of ways to help
another woman out! That is what it is all about! And who knows what some of these women may or may not be going through, and when they connect
with other women... it can give them comfort, support, something to be proud to be apart of!!
Thank you for creating this amazing
experience and sharing it with all women! Hats off to you!

the support others are looking for. This was awesome. Thank you, Robin Dunda. (Licensee for
Bedford, TX). It was nothing less than perfection!

My name is Vanessa Woods. I represent What’s the Biz, Inc.
We are small business that assists businesses with their incorporating services. I wanted to thank Bonnie for your referrals and the idea of Joy of Connecting.
I have attended several networking events and I have never come across one that is as great as the Joy of Connecting. I have not been able to attend a meeting in a while but I have referred at least 15 women to a meeting and the ones who have gone share the same excitement as myself.
Thanks again for your inspiration and support.

Every time I attend a Joy of Connecting gatherings, I am blown away by the strong, powerful and fabulous women that I have the pleasure of meeting.
I go home so excited and motivated that I find it very difficult to sleep, and when I awake the next morning, I am filled with gratitude and a sense of peace. Every
woman in the world should be able to experience such a wonderful and supporting atmosphere at least once a month, if not every day.I look forward to seeing each of you
again soon!
Blessings,

I just wanted to tell you how much of a great time I had last night by meeting so many wonderful women! Truly, each one came with their own talent and personality which made me even more excited about attending future events. Someone said last night that this experience was not only about networking, but building relationships, for me the "Joy of Connecting" was a great start! Thank you for opening the door for a new comer to share in this remarkable vision.
Until we meet again...be blessed!

I recently attended "The Joy of Connecting" launch in Addison, TX and was impressed and excited about this new, effective model of
networking for busy women professionals.
Dawn Boudreaux was a gracious hostess and an excellent facilitator. Bonnie Ross-Parker is as dynamic and
charismatic as she sounds.
I like this female construct for building our businesses or practices, and I heartily endorse this venue to any woman who is
serious about creating lasting, successful, profitable business results.
This will be the new chief cornerstone for business development!
