Hi, I'm Monica McPherrin and I'd like to thank you for visiting our Joy of Connecting page. My partner, Teresa Wolf and I serve the Kennesaw area and are excited to meet and welcome business minded women to our monthly event. We look forward to helping you grow and expand your business through quality connections with other like-minded women.
Who am I and how did I get here?
I'm a wife, mother and business owner who came to my first Joy of Connecting meeting in 2007.
Like many of you, I spent 20+ years in corporate America but found that I had a burning desire to work for and make a difference working for myself. After many years as a corporate travel agent and then mortgage loan processor, I knew it was time to find my own place in the world, doing something I loved. Because of my desire to support offers I became a life coach and briefly coached women in divorce recovery. During this time it became apparent to me that the greatest joy I received from this career choice was the marketing and internet interaction. Rather than stay trapped for another twenty years I moved forward into online marketing and social media. I had found my niche at last and over the last couple of years have refined it into a Social Media outsourcing business for busy business owners and entrepreneurs. I help manage and maintain social media networks for small business owners so they can focus on what they do best while still maintaining an online presence and creating brand awareness.
Recently (April 2010) Bonnie approached me about becoming a licensee for the Kennesaw area along with Teresa Wolf. It was the perfect time and partnership so I jumped at the chance. I look forward to making this a catalyst in growing my business, partnering with other women and helping create powerful connections in the spirit of sisterhood.

Teresa is very excited about this opportunity to work with The Joy of Connecting to help other ladies network more efficiently as well as building relationships with new friends. She and Monica hope you will consider attending this awesome event in Kennesaw.
Teresa grew up in the beautiful yet rural Western Maryland. She and her husband graduated in 1978 and got married the same year. Teresa still has a picture of them in 2nd grade and 4th grade together and her husband says, “It was in 4th grade she first asked me to marry her and I told her we should wait a while!” They have been married now for over 31 years, have 2 grown children and 1 gorgeous grandson. Besides her human family, Teresa’s animal “soul-mate” is her giant schnauzer, Jazzy.
Teresa Wolf has her own business: "Your Chosen Path and Custom Retreats." Through powerful one on one coaching, group coaching, masterminds and retreats, Teresa helps her clients get the results they expect. She has a lovely mountain cabin only about an hour north of Atlanta for smaller, more intimate retreats for sales and groups, leadership groups and more. For larger groups, Teresa has other nature options. Teresa also provides speaking to groups.
Teresa is also writing a book which she has a goal of completing by the end of 2010 around the topic of teamwork. She loves helping teams grow together as a team and hopes her book will provide valuable insights to team leaders. Be on the lookout for more information regarding her book!
Teresa’s background is as a real estate coach for agents wanting to grow their business, co- leader with her husband of an award winning real estate team that is still active in the North Atlanta area, investor of a real estate market center, entrepreneur, Registered Nurse specializing in Physical Rehabilitation and Case Management, sales, trainer and mentor.
